Founder of Kitezh Dmitry Morozov and a group of Kitezh graduates began to build Orion in 2004.

Foster parents, foster and native children, volunteers live In Orion. Now there are 16 children, 7 of them are preschool, five foster parents and seven long-term volunteers.
